let’s look at what stinky tonsil balls are not:

· They are not pieces of throat tissue coming off- yes, believe it or not people often think that the tissue is falling apart and damage is occurring in the throat
· It is not cancer or cancerous symptoms
· It is not some unknown or severe illness

Stinky Tonsil balls is a combination of:
· Dead white blood cells
· Oral bacteria
· Overactive salivary glands
· Mucus secretions
· Postnasal drip
· Residual of enzyme action on retained food
· Smoking without a filter
· Allergy/intolerance to dairy products
When the mucous, bacteria, saliva and other debris combine and hardens you end up with the white or yellow balls that range in size. The end result of tonsilloliths can end up being a source of bad breath and many times discomfort when swallowing.
